About:
The Sachem North Interact Club gave back to their community this Earth Day by cleaning up Lake Ronkonkoma. Littered with glass, cans, cigarette butts, plastic and other harmful garbage for the inhabitants of the Lake and little people who frequent this park, the club set out to make a difference in their community. Students spent their Sunday cleaning and filling garbage bags so that wild and human life could enjoy the beauty of the lake this spring.
